Chantal is warm and empathetic in her approach with clients, using a person-centred, supportive, and non-judgemental stance.
Chantal operates from the notion that clinician lived experience, and the intentional development of the therapeutic alliance plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
She enjoys taking an intersectional approach when building relationships with clients and understanding their world, while working with all forms of diversity.
Utilising emotion/somatic focused, cognitive behavioural and acceptance and commitment, attachment focused, and mindfulness-based techniques, Chantal aims to work alongside her clients and all their ‘parts’ to create a sense of change, understanding, and stability.
She also enjoys working with children 5+, teens, and adults in a neurodivergent-affirming and emotion focused manner and has experience in private practice and primary school settings.
Chantal is passionate about working with dissociation (including derealisation and depersonalisation, and other dissociative disorders), complex trauma, and neurodivergence in women/people assigned female at birth (AFAB).
She also enjoys supporting those who are in the beginning of their journeys to explore possible neuro-divergent aligned traits.

Prior to becoming a Psychologist, Chantal spent time co-facilitating a lived-experience women’s trauma support group and OCD support group.
She also volunteered within a coordinated care volunteer team which offered one-on-one weekly support to service users with co-occurring complex mental health presentations (complex trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety presentations).
Chantal thoroughly enjoyed this work, and she believes it has helped shape her passion and dedication to trauma-informed care.
She completed her post-graduate master’s program at the Cairnmillar Institute and enjoys working with all forms of cultural diversity.
In her spare time, she loves engaging in anything to do with plants, true-crime stories, and everything cats related.
