For over 15 years, our practitioners have supported individuals impacted by crime – helping them feel safe, heard, and supported throughout their recovery.
Support after a traumatic event requires care and a delicate and considered approach. Our team draws on the latest research and evidence-based strategies to guide and tailor each person’s care.
We are experienced in working with individuals accessing support through Victoria’s new Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), which has replaced VOCAT for new applications. Our practitioners continue to support clients funded under both FAS and existing VOCAT arrangements—ensuring you can access care without additional financial pressure.
Some of our psychologists have clinical and forensic backgrounds, and are experienced in providing reports or therapeutic support related to legal processes.
We understand that each person’s experience of crime is unique. Our goal is to support individuals in restoring a sense of safety, stability, and peace in their lives.
Receive support for the immediate emotional and physiological impacts of a traumatic event—such as shock, hypervigilance, or disrupted sleep.
Be guided through the longer-term impacts of trauma, including PTSD, using evidence-based approaches like EMDR and trauma-informed care.
Reclaim a sense of control and confidence as you adapt to life following a distressing or destabilising experience.
Find a safe space to process complex emotions, work through grief, and begin to re-engage meaningfully with your daily life.
Victims of crime shouldn’t have to face added financial burden. We can assist you in applying for funding to access the psychological care you need.
We support eligible individuals in applying for financial assistance through the Victorian Government’s Financial Assistance Scheme (formerly VOCAT) for psychological services.
If additional sessions are needed, we can help you prepare and submit requests for continued support—so your care is never interrupted.
