Hannah takes a client-centred and collaborative approach to therapy and aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences at their own pace. Recognising that no single approach works for everyone, she tailors therapy to each client’s individual needs, goals, and circumstances.
She draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing.
Hannah predominantly works with older adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health and life challenges. Alongside her counselling work, she is experienced in conducting forensic psychological assessments and preparing reports for court. Her forensic work has included individuals with complex offending histories involving family violence, sexual offending, violent offending, and other serious or repeated offending.
Outside of psychology, she enjoys reading fiction, watching films and TV shows, listening to rock music and going to concerts, and practicing circus arts for fitness.
