What happens when I see a psychologist at Positive Psychology?
At Positive Psychology, we take a very clear and practical approach to your health and wellbeing.
When we first start working together, you will typically undergo a period of assessment followed by a period of treatment.
In the assessment phase, we aim to gain a thorough understanding of your situation from your point of view. We may ask you to complete questionnaires or other assessments to help us understand you and the presenting issues.
The treatment phase involves helping you to do things differently to feel better. Sessions are collaborative, meaning that you make active decisions about your goals and how you would like to achieve them.
We also constantly review treatment effectiveness to ensure the best possible outcomes.
