How to Reduce, Prevent and Cope with Conflict & Stress

Run by Positive Psychology, this 10-week program aims to increase wellbeing and self-awareness for clients who would benefit from changing behaviour patterns related to conflict, anger and stress.

It utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness and has a key focus on teaching and building social-emotional skills.

As part of the intake process, you will undergo an assessment to determine your eligibility for the group as well as the nature of your problems with conflict, anger and stress.

Week 4 Stress Management

Week 5 Introducing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Week 6 Mindfulness

Week 7 Assertiveness & Communication Skills

Week 8 Relaxation Techniques

Week 9 Developing Resilience

Week 10 Review and Maintaining Positive Gains

Eligibility & Fees

This program is designed for a maximum of 10 people. To be eligible for Medicare rebates you must have a current Mental Health Care Plan from your General Practitioner.
